The 2024 North American Lamborghini Super Trofeo Series
Al Morey is an 19 year old American race car driver. Al comes from a small family who all live just outside Indianapolis consisting of just himself, his mother and his father. Always around racing because of his father, Al grew a love for the sport from an early age. Al Graduated high school in spring of 2024 and now attends Butler University as an exploratory studies major.
Al started racing indoor go karts at the age of 9 and began his career in the years following. When Al was 14 he won his first championship and was picked up by a professional team to go outdoor karting. After a year in outdoor karting, Al's former team, Jay Howard Driver Development (JHDD) placed him in a Formula 4 car, the same car that he would go on to race in 2022. From there Morey continued his journey in the open wheel ladder and found himself racing for JHDD in The USF Pro Championships in the USF 2000 car in 2023 (Morey's first full season of professional racing where he finished 11th of 33 in the overall drivers standings). After a long off season full of testing new types of cars (which include an LMP3 Prototype, USF Pro 2000 (shown #26), and ultimately the Lamborghini Super Trofeo) Al landed with Topp Racing to pilot the #17 Lamborghini Super Trofeo for the 2024 season and beyond.
